The goal of this course is to instruct students in the rhetorical and analytical skills required for the AP Language and Composition class. Students will complete essays on the three Free Response Questions found on the exam. During the process, they will hone their composition capabilities and analytical reasoning skills.Class ID: SH20324
The AP English Language & Composition Comprehensive Boost class aims to most effectively prepare students to succeed in the upcoming AP Language Literature & Composition test. In the first 2 sessions of the class, students are taught with strategies on how to read and respond to non-fiction books, articles, and other documents which demonstrate all rhetorical devices and concepts covered on the AP test. In the last 4 sessions, students will practice with real or official AP English Language & Composition tests under strict timing on each section. After each mock test, we will provide a thorough review of the test as well as teach strategies on how to solve problems quickly and accurately.
This is a short-version of AP English Language and Composition diagnostic test. The total duration is 52 minutes. The format of the test is as follow.
- 11 multiple-choice questions; 12 minutes
- 1 free response question; 40 minutes
Your answers to the free response questions will be graded by 7EDU expert AP teachers.
The AP English Language & Composition Boost class aims to simulate real test-taking conditions for students by giving them opportunities to practice with real or official AP English Language & Composition practice tests under strict timing on each section. After each mock test, we will provide thorough review of the test as well as teach strategies of how to solve problems quickly and accurately.
This course will provide students with opportunities to practice test questions and receive feedback on their progress toward improving their score each week in addition to reading and responding to non-fiction books, articles, and other documents which demonstrate all rhetorical strategies and concepts in covered on the AP test. Upon completion of the course, students will know and understand strategies for responding to all question types (multiple-choice, synthesis essay, analysis essay, and argument essay) on the AP English Language & Composition test.
